Today I celebrate 14 years in my current space. It has been an amazing period. The studio is so much a part of who I am. The space is really an extension of my creative spirit. Happy anniversary to us!
I also discovered today that I will be creating a female sculture for the San Diego Breast Cancer Benefit:
The Pink Party. I'm very excited to be contributing and doing my first female sculpture in the process.
My show was last weekend and what a great time it was! I want to thank all of the people that turned out to support my work and a special thanks to the new collectors that liked the work enough to own it.
I had the opportunity to cast James this past week (we'll add a shot of him with the cast later this week)
We'll be doing another cast this week too. I have two other models lined up for this week also.
LOTS of new pieces. Watch for several new underwear pieces.

I had the opportunity to work with a new model testing materials and techniques over the weekend.
He is a 6'6" Marine from Camp Pendelton north of San Diego. He has one of the longest torsos I've ever cast.
This first piece is really nice and I have plans for the finish and detail already. Show here as raw form.
The second piece is first in a new series "Underwear : Calvins Test 1" Shown with black base coat over raw materials. More coming briefly! : )

I installed two lifecasts, Dan & Rocco, in their beautiful new home in Del Mar, just north of San Diego.
They look amazing in their new place, so I thought I would share the images.

Summer Is Here!
It's about time!
May and June have blown right by.
So much has happened during that period and much of what is to come is just beginning to manifest itself
I'll be brief until more reveals itself, but let me say May and June (with my Gemini B'day and all ; ),
was a extremely productive and creative period.
I was able to create some art, commerce and both at once.
On the Fine Art side I was able to get two new canvases completed.
May and June have blown right by.

It's official! I've announced my next show dates: September 21st & 22nd
This will be an evening show , champagne reception.
